Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National Rate of First Dose COVID-19 Vaccination for Elderly Based on ID Cards (Tuesday, February 15, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 278 regencies/cities with a first-dose elderly vaccination rate (based on KTP ID) exceeding the national average, currently recorded at 66.19 percent as of Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Five regencies/cities had the highest first-dose elderly vaccination rates (based on KTP ID), exceeding 116.34 percent: Sukabumi (120.91 percent), Aceh Singkil (120.8 percent), Lingga (118.21 percent), Solok City (116.79 percent), and Serang (116.34 percent).

National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the first-dose elderly vaccination rate (based on KTP ID) in most regencies/cities outside Java is increasing. A daily increase in the first-dose elderly vaccination rate (based on KTP ID) compared to previous days was recorded in 182 regencies/cities.

Some of the regions outside Java with the highest first-dose elderly vaccination rates (based on KTP ID) include Aceh Singkil (120.8 percent), Lingga (118.21 percent), and Solok City (116.79 percent).

The government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
