This testing achievement data is calculated based on the number of people tested compared to each region's weekly target, which is then reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest, are Balikpapan City, Badung Regency, Surakarta City, Semarang City, and Mimika Regency, with ratios of 493.48 percent, 256.46 percent, 244.59 percent, 228.68 percent, and 216.52 percent, respectively.
Balikpapan City ranks first. With a population of 646,020, the weekly testing percentage in this area was recorded at 493.48 percent. The latest positive rate is 11.67 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Badung Regency. The population in this region is recorded at 727,950. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage was 256.46 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at six percent, an increase compared to the previous week's percentage.
Then, Surakarta City recorded a 244.59 percent testing rate, Semarang City recorded 228.68 percent, and Mimika Regency recorded 216.52 percent for weekly testing percentages.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 135 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report higher daily weekly testing percentages than before. Meanwhile, 204 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly testing percentages compared to the previous week's testing.

Although Covid-19 transmission in some areas has decreased, the government urges everyone to continue to participate in reducing Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
