The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 106 regencies/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.18 percent as of Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20 percent are West Lombok (32 percent), Tasikmalaya (23.5 percent), Metro City (23 percent), Simalungun (20.33 percent), and Cianjur (20 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily increase in tracing compared to previous days was recorded in 10 regencies/cities, while 17 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok (32 percent), Metro City (23 percent), and Simalungun (20.33 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
