By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 181,700 recipients. For the first dose, 181,700 people were vaccinated (141.09% of the target), and for the second dose, 137.13% of the target was reached, or 249,160 people.
Public sector workers were targeted at 2.2 million people. The first dose vaccination reached 2.91 million people (132.78% of the target), and the second dose reached 120.57% of the target, or 2.65 million people.
The elderly target was 3.41 million people. For the first dose, 2.88 million people received the vaccine (84.44% of the target). The second dose reached only 64.47%, or 2.2 million people.
The target for the vulnerable general public was 27.25 million people. For the first dose, 19.1 million people received the vaccine (70.71% of the target). The second dose reached only 55.81%, or 15.05 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 4.87 million people. For the first dose, 4.5 million people were vaccinated (92.48% of the target). The second dose reached 77.65%, or 3.78 million people.
