As of Tuesday, January 4, 2022, a total of 284.1 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 166.88 million first doses, 114.69 million second doses, and 2.53 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (139.86% of the target). 1.3 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (133.99% of the target). Furthermore, 1.3 million healthcare workers have received a third dose (88.19% of the target).
For public sector workers, 23.5 million people have received their first dose (135.64% of the target), and 21.16 million have received their second dose (122.13% of the target).
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 14.44 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (67.01% of the target), and 9.14 million have received their second dose (42.4% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 98.38 million people have received their first dose (70.6% of the target), and 63.97 million have received their second dose (46.17% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 22.85 million have received their first dose (85.56% of the target), and 17.23 million have received their second dose (64.5% of the target).
