The top five, starting with the highest, are Kutai Kartanegara, Sidoarjo, Bogor City, Palembang City, and Sleman, with 967, 808, 782, 775, and 773 tests per week respectively.
Kutai Kartanegara ranks first. With a population of 802,710, the number of people tested in the last week was 967 per week. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Sidoarjo. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested in the last week was 808 per week. The positive rate in this region is 0.87 percent, an increase compared to the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, Covid-19 tests in Bogor City in the last week totaled 782 per week, 775 per week in Palembang City, and 773 per week in Sleman.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on a recapitulation of national Covid data, 221 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of people tested daily in the last week compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, 32 other regencies/cities recorded a lower number of people tested in the last week compared to the previous week.
