As of Monday, March 7, 2022, North Kalimantan Province has achieved 92.86% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 506,690 recipients out of a target of 545,670 people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 73.53% of the target.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 7,091 recipients. For the first dose, 7,091 people were vaccinated (125.79% of the target), and for the second dose, 121.76% or 8,634 people were vaccinated.
For public sector workers, the target was 60,230 people. The first dose vaccination reached 52,680 people (87.47% of the target), and the second dose reached 79.62%, or 47,950 people.
For the elderly, the target was 33,250 people. The first dose was administered to 26,020 people (78.26% of the target). The second dose reached 53.38%, or 17,750 people.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 367,210 people. The first dose was administered to 288,490 people (79.53% of the target). The second dose reached 63%, or 227,780 people.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 77,890 people. The first dose was administered to 68,500 people (87.94% of the target). The second dose reached 73.37%, or 57,150 people.
