The top five, starting from the highest weekly suspect examination percentage, are Simalungun (94.29%), Mandailing Natal (81.26%), Boven Digoel (81.25%), Tasikmalaya (79.6%), and Pangandaran (77.48%).
Simalungun is ranked first. With a population of 877,710, the weekly suspect examination percentage here is recorded at 94.29 percent. The latest positive rate is 4.09 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Mandailing Natal. The population in this region is recorded at 460,360. In an effort to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect examination percentage is 81.26 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0.4 percent, or higher than the previous week's ratio.
Then, Boven Digoel, with a population of 71,134, has a recorded weekly suspect examination percentage of 81.25 percent. Tasikmalaya, with a population of 79.6 percent, and Pangandaran, with a population of 407,350, have recorded weekly suspect examination percentages of 79.6 percent and 77.48 percent, respectively.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the recapitulation of national Covid data, there are 200 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report daily weekly suspect examination percentages higher than before.
