Only 27.75 percent of the target population in West Kalimantan has received their first dose of the vaccine.

As of Thursday, October 7, 2021, West Kalimantan Province has achieved a 27.75% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 1.07 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.87 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 16.95% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 25,020 recipients. For the first dose, 25,020 people were vaccinated (137.67% of the target), and for the second dose, 129.59% of the target was achieved, or 32,420 people.

For public sector workers, the target was 291,650 people. The first dose vaccination reached 323,700 people (110.99% of the target), and the second dose reached 92.51% of the target, or 269,810 people.

For the elderly, the target was 350,690 people. For the first dose, 50,140 people were vaccinated (14.3% of the target). The second dose reached 10.69% of the target, or 37,510 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.64 million people. For the first dose, 615,510 people were vaccinated (24.13% of the target). The second dose reached 11.15% of the target, or 278,960 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 569,700 people. For the first dose, 30,200 people were vaccinated (5.3% of the target). The second dose reached 4.03% of the target, or 22,940 people.
