As of Tuesday, September 14, 2021, a total of 119.19 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 74.82 million first doses, 42.78 million second doses, and 1.59 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (133.31% of the target). 1.79 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (122.01% of the target). Furthermore, 805,330 healthcare workers have received a third dose (54.83% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.55 million people have received their first dose (158.97% of the target), and 14.14 million (81.58% of the target) have received their second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 5.73 million elderly individuals (26.6% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.06 million (18.82% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 35.47 million people (25.77% of the target) have received their first dose, and 19.94 million (14.59% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.18 million (11.93% of the target) have received their first dose, and 2.19 million (8.19% of the target) have received their second dose.
