The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 88 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 1.94 percent as of Friday, July 22, 2022.
The five regencies/cities with the highest tracing rates, exceeding 22 percent, are Lombok Barat (39 percent), Banyuwangi (35 percent), Tasikmalaya (30.75 percent), Hulu Sungai Selatan (23.5 percent), and Pasuruan (22 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 16 regencies/cities, while four regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat (39 percent), Hulu Sungai Selatan (23.5 percent), and Binjai City (21 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
