The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 81 regencies/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 exceeding the national average, currently recorded at 0.05 deaths per 100,000 population per week, based on data from Saturday, October 22, 2022.
The five regencies/cities with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.82 deaths per 100,000 population per week, are Pakpak Bharat (1.9 deaths per 100,000 population per week), Pariaman City (1.08 deaths per 100,000 population per week), North Minahasa (0.98 deaths per 100,000 population per week), West Bangka (0.93 deaths per 100,000 population per week), and Probolinggo City (0.82 deaths per 100,000 population per week).
National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. Ten regencies/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while five regencies/cities recorded a lower rate.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
