Average Schooling Duration in Singkawang City Rises to 8.58 Years

The average schooling duration (ASD) of residents aged 25 and over in Singkawang City, West Kalimantan reached 8.58 years in 2025.

Quoting data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the ASD of residents in this area is above the West Kalimantan provincial average of 8.07 years in 2025.

The ASD of Singkawang City residents increased by 0.36 years (4.38%) compared to the previous year's 8.22 years. Meanwhile, over the last five years, the ASD has risen by 0.69 years (8.75%).
