Several districts/cities in South Kalimantan province still record a relatively low second dose vaccination rate compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Barito Kuala Regency, Banjar Regency, and Tabalong Regency.
As of today, in implementing the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 552,470 second doses out of the expected target of 881,770 vaccine recipients.
Barito Kuala Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second dose vaccination in this region has reached 60.59 percent. This is the lowest figure compared to the other 13 districts/cities. As for the first dose achievement, as of today, it has reached 88.03 percent, or 385,110 vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program is planned to target 244,700 participants. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Barito Kuala was recorded at 1,260 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 122,660 doses.
Next is Banjar Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is ranked second lowest. With a vaccine target of 442,250 participants, 62.41 percent or 276,020 participants have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 88.12 percent, or 701,990 vaccine recipients. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Banjar was recorded at 1,950 participants. The current available vaccine stock is 132,400 doses.
Another is Tabalong Regency, ranked third. With a vaccine target of 194,820 participants, 65.79 percent or 128,180 participants have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Tabalong was recorded at 640 participants. The current available vaccine stock is 20,530 doses.
As for the vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in South Kalimantan has reached 92.65 percent, or 2.93 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination is recorded at 70.66 percent, reaching 2.23 million vaccine recipients.
