As of Tuesday, September 28, 2021, a total of 141.04 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 89.2 million first doses, 50.03 million second doses, and 1.81 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 1.98 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, representing 134.55% of the target. 1.83 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (124.52% of the target). Furthermore, 920,490 healthcare workers have received a third dose (62.67% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.71 million people have received their first dose (159.94% of the target), and 17.98 million have received their second dose (103.75% of the target).
Elderly individuals were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 6.35 million (29.44% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.33 million (20.09% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 48.27 million people have received their first dose (34.9% of the target), and 22.57 million have received their second dose (16.55% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.88 million have received their first dose (14.52% of the target), and 2.53 million have received their second dose (9.46% of the target).
