As of Monday, September 27, 2021, a total of 138.74 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 87.74 million first doses, 49.2 million second doses, and 1.8 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (134.29% of the target). 1.82 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (124.12% of the target). Furthermore, 912,960 healthcare workers have received a third dose (62.16% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.81 million people have received their first dose (160.49% of the target), and 17.45 million have received their second dose (100.7% of the target).
The elderly were prioritized in the initial phases of the vaccination program. To date, 6.28 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (29.12% of the target), and 4.3 million have received their second dose (19.95% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 47.19 million people have received their first dose (34.13% of the target), and 22.38 million have received their second dose (16.41% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.49 million have received their first dose (13.06% of the target), and 2.45 million have received their second dose (9.19% of the target).
