76.9% of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered in Central Java.

As of Wednesday, December 29, 2021, the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Java Province has reached 76.9 percent. This figure is equivalent to 22.09 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 28.73 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 59.56 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: the health workforce group with a target of 164,920 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 164,920 people (149.5 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 145.62 percent or 240,150 people were vaccinated.

Vaccination for public officials targeted 2.21 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.87 million people (129.58 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 119.07 percent, or 2.64 million people.

Then, vaccination for the elderly targeted 3.68 million people. For the first dose, it has been given to 2.62 million people (71.05 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 51.38 percent or 1.89 million people have been vaccinated.

Vaccination for the vulnerable general public targeted 19.3 million people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly been given to 13.29 million people (69.09 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 50.61 percent or 9.73 million people have been vaccinated.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. In this region, the target set is 3.37 million people. For the first dose, it has been given to 3.03 million people (89.81 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 76.46 percent, or 2.58 million people.
