2.11 million people in Riau have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As of Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Riau Province has achieved 43.67% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 2.11 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.84 million people. The second dose vaccination has reached 28.5% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,920 recipients. For the first dose, 32,920 people were vaccinated (136.59% of the target), and for the second dose, 129.01% or 42,480 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target was 349,420 people. The first dose vaccination reached 580,910 people (166.25% of the target), and the second dose reached 141.94% or 495,970 people.

For the elderly, the target was 322,470 people. The first dose was administered to 78,210 people (24.25% of the target). The second dose reached 16.66% or 53,730 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 3.45 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.1 million people (33.66% of the target). The second dose reached 19.08% or 606,330 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 684,190 people. The first dose was administered to 247,990 people (36.25% of the target). The second dose reached 18.78% or 128,490 people.
