The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 127 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.98 percent as of Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 23.67 percent are Sumenep, Surabaya City, Metro City, West Lombok, and Mojokerto City, with values of 31 percent, 30 percent, 29.25 percent, 24.08 percent, and 23.67 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing rates in most districts/cities outside Java have decreased. A daily increase in tracing rates compared to previous days was recorded in 27 districts/cities, while 34 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, West Lombok, and Simalungun, with tracing rates of 29.25 percent, 24.08 percent, and 19 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
