The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 115 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.62 percent as of Thursday, December 15, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with figures exceeding 20.5 percent are Lombok Barat, Metro City, Ngawi, Blitar City, and Cianjur, with values of 29.5 percent, 25 percent, 21 percent, 21 percent, and 20.5 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most districts/cities outside Java. A higher than previous daily tracing rate was recorded in 23 districts/cities, while 15 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Lombok Barat, Metro City, and Karimun, with tracing rates of 29.5 percent, 25 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
