Average Years of Schooling for Cirebon Residents Up to 6th Grade Primary School in 2025

The average years of schooling (AYS) for residents aged 25 years and over in Cirebon, West Java, reached 7.88 years in 2025.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the AYS for residents in the region was below the average for West Java Province, which reached 9.14 years in 2025.

Cirebon residents' AYS increased by 0.23 years (3.01%) compared to the previous year, which was 7.65 years. Meanwhile, in the last five years, the AYS increased by 0.96 years (13.87%).

This AYS indicates that the average Cirebon resident only attended school up to the seventh grade. However, this AYS is still below the national average AYS of 9.07 years in 2025.
