The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 103 districts/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 above the national average, currently recorded at 0.07 deaths per 100,000 population per week, data as of Sunday, November 6, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.79 deaths per 100,000 population per week, are Aceh Jaya, Bengkulu Tengah, Toli Toli, Sinjai, and Sijunjung, with respective values of 1.03 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.86 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.83 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.81 deaths per 100,000 population per week, and 0.79 deaths per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. Seven districts/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while 15 districts/cities recorded a lower agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 include Aceh Jaya, Bengkulu Tengah, and Toli Toli, with respective agglomeration death rates of 1.03 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.86 deaths per 100,000 population per week, and 0.83 deaths per 100,000 population per week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
