As of Thursday, January 13, 2022, a total of 294.28 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 173.25 million first doses, 118.49 million second doses, and 2.55 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, representing 139.78% of the target. 1.33 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (134.15% of the target). Furthermore, 1.33 million healthcare workers have received a third dose (90.8% of the target).
For public sector workers, 23.46 million people have received their first dose (135.37% of the target), and 21.19 million have received their second dose (122.29% of the target).
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 14.89 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (69.1% of the target), and 9.55 million have received their second dose (44.32% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 99.98 million people have received their first dose (71.73% of the target), and 66.67 million have received their second dose (48.09% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17, 23.31 million have received their first dose (87.27% of the target), and 17.77 million have received their second dose (66.54% of the target).
