National COVID-19 vaccination as of Sunday, September 26, 2021, has reached 136.76 million doses. This includes 86.46 million first doses, 48.53 million second doses, and 1.78 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community participation) program.
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, or 134.23% of the target. 1.82 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, or 123.93% of the target. For healthcare workers, the government also recommends a third dose, which has been given to 905,370 healthcare workers, or 61.64% of the target.
For public sector workers, 27.79 million people have received the first dose, or 160.36% of the target. Of these, 17.03 million people, or 98.28% of the target, have received the second dose.
In the first phase, the government prioritized elderly individuals. However, to date, only 6.22 million, or 28.88% of the target, have received the first dose. 4.28 million, or 19.84% of the target, have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general population groups. For this group, 46.01 million people, or 33.29% of the target, have received the first dose. 22.19 million, or 16.27%, have received the second dose.
Finally, another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. A total of 3.47 million people in this group, or 12.98% of the target, have received the first dose. Of these, 2.43 million people, or 9.09% of the target, have received the second dose.
