As of Wednesday, September 8, 2021, a total of 111.22 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 69.78 million first doses, 39.97 million second doses, and 1.47 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.66 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (113.31% of the target). 1.54 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (105.1% of the target). Furthermore, 741,910 healthcare workers have received a third dose (50.51% of the target).
For public sector workers, 38.27 million people have received their first dose (220.85% of the target), and 20.82 million have received their second dose (120.18% of the target).
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 5.49 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (25.47% of the target), and 3.91 million have received their second dose (18.16% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 20.63 million people have received their first dose (15.23% of the target), and 11.1 million have received their second dose (8.29% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 2.86 million have received their first dose (10.7% of the target), and 1.99 million have received their second dose (7.44% of the target).
