The top five cities with the highest number of people tested in the last week are: Samarinda (985 people), Indramayu (963 people), Tasikmalaya (946 people), Bandar Lampung (909 people), and Cimahi (897 people).
Samarinda ranks first. With a population of 866,880, 985 people were tested in the last week. The latest positive rate is 1.73 percent, lower than the previous week's ratio.
Indramayu follows, with 963 people tested in the last week in an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The positive rate in this region is 1.97 percent, higher than the previous week's ratio.
Tasikmalaya recorded 946 tests per week, Bandar Lampung 909, and Cimahi 897.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 125 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of daily tests in the last week compared to the previous week.
