The implementation of the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination program has been underway for a semester across all regions. The latest data (Wednesday, July 26, 2023) shows that Makassar City in South Sulawesi has the highest third-dose vaccination rate at 14.31 percent.

Previously, the city achieved 95.37 percent for the first dose and 75.55 percent for the second dose. A total of 2.04 million doses have been administered in this region, exceeding the target of 1.1 million vaccine recipients.

Luwu Timur Regency follows in second place. Compared to the previous week, its vaccination rate has reached 14.22 percent. The first dose has reached 95.37 percent and the second dose 75.55 percent. Following are Parepare City with a 13.89 percent vaccination rate, Soppeng Regency with 11.44 percent, and Palopo City with 9.02 percent.

Nationally, the third dose vaccination rate in Indonesia is currently at 38.07 percent, unchanged from the previous day.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health's dashboard, the national vaccination rate for the first dose has reached 86.88 percent and 74.55 percent for the second dose, based on the target number of vaccine recipients.
