An Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) survey report shows that the majority of Indonesians reject the government's policy requiring the purchase of subsidized Pertalite and Solar fuel using the MyPertamina application.

Only 21.3% of respondents agreed with the policy. This breaks down to 19.4% agreeing and 1.9% strongly agreeing.

“The majority disagree/strongly disagree with the government's policy of implementing the purchase of Pertalite and Solar using the MyPertamina application,” the LSI report stated.

A total of 73.2% expressed disagreement with the use of the MyPertamina application. This includes 43.6% who stated complete disagreement and 29.6% who expressed partial disagreement.

Meanwhile, 5.5% of respondents said they didn't know or didn't answer.

For information, this survey was conducted with 1,220 respondents from August 13-21, 2022. The survey targeted all Indonesian citizens with voting rights in general elections; those aged 17 or older, or those who were married at the time of the survey.

The survey population was selected using a multistage random sampling method, with a margin of error of approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
