Today's COVID-19 Provincial Data Update: West Java Reports the Highest Increase (Tuesday, December 27, 2022)

Indonesia today recorded an additional 803 Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 6.72 million as of Tuesday, December 27, 2022. The five provinces with the highest number of new cases today are West Java, Jakarta, East Java, Banten, and Central Java.

1. West Java recorded an additional 229 cases

West Java ranks first. The increase in cases here was 229, or a 0.02% increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which reached 1.23 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in West Java is now 1.23 million.

2. Jakarta recorded an additional 185 cases

3. East Java recorded an additional 105 cases
