The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 34 districts/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 above the national average, currently recorded at 0.01 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.24 per 100,000 population per week, are Manggarai, Pangkal Pinang City, Tasikmalaya City, Kapuas, and Pringsewu, with respective rates of 0.57, 0.46, 0.44, 0.27, and 0.24 per 100,000 population per week.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Zero districts/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than before, while 13 districts/cities recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 include Manggarai, Pangkal Pinang City, and Kapuas, with rates of 0.57, 0.46, and 0.27 per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
