The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 98 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.56 percent as of Sunday, July 3, 2022.
Tracing data shows the top five regencies/cities with figures exceeding 26 percent are Ciamis, Pasuruan City, Bojonegoro, South Hulu Sungai, and Metro City, with values of 40 percent, 37 percent, 31 percent, 30 percent, and 26 percent respectively.
A national Covid data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than previous days were recorded in six regencies/cities, while eight regencies/cities recorded lower tracing figures.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include South Hulu Sungai, Metro City, and Mataram City, with tracing figures of 30 percent, 26 percent, and 22 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
