Several districts/cities in West Java province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Sukabumi Regency, Garut Regency, and Cianjur Regency.
As of yesterday's vaccination program data, these three regencies have only completed 2.01 million second doses out of the expected target of 6.03 million vaccine recipients.
Sukabumi Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 30.6%. This is the lowest compared to the other 27 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 65.7%, or 2.06 million vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 2.14 million participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Sukabumi last week was 18,206 participants. The current vaccine stock is 176,380 doses.
Next is Garut Regency. For the second dose, this regency has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 1.98 million vaccine recipients, only 34.3% or 678,340 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 66.2%, or 1.99 million vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Garut last week was 17,283 participants. The current vaccine stock is 248,260 doses.
Then there is Cianjur Regency, ranked third. With a target of 1.92 million vaccine recipients, only 35.2% or 675,010 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Cianjur last week was 12,394 participants. The current vaccine stock is 253,750 doses.
Regarding the provincial-level vaccination achievement, the total first-dose vaccination in West Java has reached 67.45%, or 25.57 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 48.39%, covering 18.34 million vaccine recipients.
