As of Monday, July 3, 2023, a total of 69.06 million doses of COVID-19 booster vaccines have been administered in Indonesia. This represents 38.04% of the national vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. The daily increase in booster vaccinations nationwide yesterday was 1,743 doses.
West Java remains the province with the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, totaling 15.51 million doses. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients with 1.6 million doses, followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million), Bekasi City (981,950), Bekasi Regency (970,460), Cianjur Regency (913,340), and Bandung City (901,290).
East Java is second nationally with 9.45 million booster doses administered. Surabaya City has the highest number of recipients within East Java, with 1.32 million doses.
Central Java is in third place with 8.64 million booster doses administered. This is followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten with 5.37 million, 4.21 million, and 3.01 million booster doses administered, respectively.
