Aceh Selatan Regency Has the Lowest Second Dose Vaccination Rate in Aceh

Several districts/cities in Aceh Province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Aceh Selatan Regency, Bireuen Regency, and Aceh Utara Regency.

As of yesterday's data, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 627,550 second doses out of the expected target of 976,250 vaccine recipients.

Aceh Selatan Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region has reached 63.6 percent, the lowest among the other 23 districts/cities. The first dose has reached 91.31 percent, or 301,070 vaccine recipients.

The vaccination program in this district/city targets 184,650 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Aceh Selatan was 1,147 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 17,424 doses.

Next is Bireuen Regency. For the second dose, this area has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 333,000 vaccine recipients, 64.1 percent or 213,460 recipients have been vaccinated.

The first dose has reached 94.59 percent, or 544,820 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Bireuen was zero participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 45,839 doses.

Aceh Utara Regency is ranked third. With a target of 458,610 vaccine recipients, 64.68 percent or 296,640 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Aceh Utara was 2,171 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 40,976 doses.

At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in Aceh has reached 98.72 percent, or 3.98 million vaccine recipients. The second dose has reached 71.37 percent, covering 2.88 million vaccine recipients.
