This suspect examination data is calculated based on the number of suspected individuals and close contacts compared to the number of people examined in each region, which is then reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest, are Simalungun, Tasikmalaya, Mandailing Natal, Banggai Laut, and Pangandaran, with percentages of 92.83 percent, 83.99 percent, 80.52 percent, 79.25 percent, and 74.1 percent, respectively.
Simalungun is ranked first. With a population of 877,710, the weekly suspect examination percentage here is recorded at 92.83 percent. The latest positive rate is 4.48 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Tasikmalaya. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect examination percentage is 83.99 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0.63 percent, or higher than the previous week's percentage.
Then, Mandailing Natal recorded 80.52 percent examination, Banggai Laut 79.25 percent, and Pangandaran 74.1 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid data recapitulation, there are 189 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher weekly suspect examination percentage than before. Meanwhile, 163 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly suspect examination percentage compared to the previous week.
