As of Thursday, September 9, 2021, a total of 112.17 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 70.32 million first doses, 40.36 million second doses, and 1.48 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 1.67 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (113.41% of the target). 1.55 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (105.21% of the target). Furthermore, 746,270 healthcare workers have received a third dose (50.81% of the target).
For public sector workers, 30.95 million people have received their first dose (178.61% of the target), and 17.17 million have received their second dose (99.08% of the target).
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 5.56 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (25.79% of the target), and 3.95 million have received their second dose (18.33% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 28.26 million people have received their first dose (20.64% of the target), and 15.06 million have received their second dose (11.1% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.01 million have received their first dose (11.26% of the target), and 2.03 million have received their second dose (7.61% of the target).
