Several districts/cities in West Java province still record quite low vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Tasikmalaya Regency, Cianjur Regency, and Cirebon Regency. As of Sunday, September 19, 2021, in the vaccination program, these three regions had only completed 933,390 doses of the first vaccine shot out of the targeted 5.18 million vaccine recipients.
Tasikmalaya Regency is ranked first (lowest). As of yesterday, this region has only recorded 16% vaccination. This is the lowest figure compared to the other 27 districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 1.48 million participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 3,658 participants. The available vaccine stock is 21,434 doses.
Next is Cianjur Regency, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 1.92 million participants, only 18.06% or 346,210 participants have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 6,636 participants. The available vaccine stock is 51,838 doses.
Following is Cirebon Regency, ranked third lowest. With a vaccination target of 1.78 million participants, only 19.64% or 350,090 participants have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 5,095 participants. The available vaccine stock is 47,386 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in West Java has reached 33.45%, covering 12.68 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 16.98%, covering 6.44 million vaccine recipients.
