Weekly Expenditure of North Mamuju Regency Residents on Root Crops

The average expenditure of people in North Mamuju Regency to buy sago (not from cassava) in 2023 was Rp345.87 per capita per week. This figure is lower than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp403.65 per capita per week.

Five largest household expenditures for tubers in North Mamuju Regency, from highest to lowest, were: sweet potato Rp461.81 per capita per week, cassava Rp400.41 per capita per week, sago (not from cassava) Rp345.87 per capita per week, potato Rp144.64 per capita per week, and other tubers Rp26.46 per capita per week.

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members for a month, whether from purchases, gifts, or self-production, divided by the number of household members. Household consumption is differentiated into food and non-food consumption, regardless of the origin of the goods, and is limited to household needs only, excluding consumption/expenditure for business purposes or given to others.

Expenditure for food consumption is calculated weekly, while non-food consumption is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Based on region, the highest expenditure for buying sago (not from cassava) was in South Sorong Regency and the lowest in Lhokseumawe City. North Mamuju Regency's expenditure for buying sago (not from cassava) ranked 69th.
