The number of people in Papua who have received their first dose of the vaccine is 859,950.

As of Friday, May 6, 2022, Papua Province has achieved a 33.28% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 859,950 individuals vaccinated out of a target of 2.58 million. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 24.74% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 19,530 individuals. For the first dose, 19,530 individuals were vaccinated (100.74% of the target), and for the second dose, 94.73% or 18,500 individuals were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 289,920 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 154,140 individuals (53.17% of the target), and the second dose reached 45.64%, or 132,310 individuals.

For the elderly, the target was 177,360 individuals. For the first dose, 27,100 individuals were vaccinated (15.28% of the target). The second dose reached 11.43%, or 20,270 individuals.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.69 million individuals. For the first dose, 502,410 individuals were vaccinated (30.48% of the target). The second dose reached 21.79%, or 355,980 individuals.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 407,850 individuals. For the first dose, 101,910 individuals were vaccinated (24.99% of the target). The second dose reached 18.08%, or 73,720 individuals.
