Average Schooling Duration in Nagekeo Rises to 8.47 Years

The average schooling duration (ASD) of residents aged 25 and over in Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara reached 8.47 years in 2025.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the ASD of the region's residents is above the East Nusa Tenggara provincial average of 8.22 years in 2025.

Nagekeo's resident ASD increased by 0.24 years (2.92%) compared to the previous year's 8.23 years. Meanwhile, over the last five years, the ASD has increased by 0.58 years (7.35%).

This ASD indicates that the average Nagekeo resident only attends school up to the 8th grade level. However, this ASD is still below the national average ASD of 9.07 years in 2025.

When compared to the other 21 regencies/cities in East Nusa Tenggara, Nagekeo's ASD ranks 6th. The other regions in the province with the highest ASD are Kupang City (11.66 years), while the lowest ASD is in Southwest Sumba Regency (6.47 years).
