The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 58 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 1.37 percent as of Monday, January 9, 2023.

A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than previous days were recorded in five districts/cities, while six districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Deli Serdang (30 percent), Mataram City (20 percent), and West Lombok (17 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
