The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least three regencies/cities have a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 9.35 percent. This is an increase compared to last week's figure of 9.2 percent (data as of Wednesday, November 30, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 54.76 percent, are Fakfak, East Belitung, Tulang Bawang, Batang, and Tasikmalaya, with values of 100 percent, 80.95 percent, 61.26 percent, 56.66 percent, and 54.76 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 89 regencies/cities, while 94 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, East Belitung, and Tulang Bawang, with BORs of 100 percent, 80.95 percent, and 61.26 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
