Several districts/cities in West Sumatra province still record a relatively low level of second dose vaccination compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Solok Regency, Agam Regency, and the Mentawai Islands Regency.
As of yesterday, in implementing the vaccination program, these three regions have only completed 443,970 second doses out of the expected target of 812,350 vaccine recipients.
Solok Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, this region has recorded 53.15 percent for the second dose vaccination. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 19 districts/cities. Meanwhile, for the first dose, as of yesterday, 83.96 percent has been achieved, or 439,090 vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program is planned to target 311,810 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Solok was 839 participants. The current vaccine stock is 32,616 doses.
Next is Agam Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this region is ranked second lowest. With a target of 432,030 vaccine recipients, 55.59 percent or 240,160 recipients have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 76.95 percent, or 584,960 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Agam was 917 participants. The current vaccine stock is 42,207 doses.
Another is the Mentawai Islands Regency, ranked third. With a target of 68,511 vaccine recipients, 55.61 percent or 38,098 recipients have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in the Mentawai Islands was 118 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 40,512 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in West Sumatra has reached 83.98 percent, or 4.18 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 66 percent, reaching 3.28 million vaccine recipients.
