Since the outbreak of the Israeli-Hamas war on October 7, 2023, there have been numerous calls for a boycott of products affiliated with Israel.
According to a survey by Kurious-Katadata Insight Center (KIC), of 2,554 Indonesian respondents, approximately 36% actively participated in boycotts, and 47% supported such actions but had not yet taken part.

The proportion of respondents from Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, and Maluku-Papua ranged from 0.2% to 4%.
Data collection was conducted from November 10-17, 2023, using computer-assisted web interviewing (CAWI), with a margin of error of +/- 1.94% and a 95% confidence level.
