The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) launched a packaged cooking oil for the public under the brand name "Minyakita" on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

"Minyakita will be distributed throughout Indonesia with a highest retail price (HET) of Rp14,000 per liter," the Ministry of Trade wrote in its press release.

Prices in North Maluku, West Papua, Gorontalo, and West Nusa Tenggara are also recorded as being above the HET of Rp14,000, as shown in the graph.

Meanwhile, the lowest national price for bulk cooking oil was recorded in Aceh, at Rp12,750 per liter.

Overall, the national average price of bulk cooking oil on Thursday, July 7, 2022, reached Rp15,700 per liter, 17.29% lower than the beginning of the year.
