Current Food Prices in Bali: Chili and Egg Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (17/7/2024) at 13:50 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, medium rice, shallots, iodized fine salt, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp550 (2.27%) to Rp24,830 per kg. Milkfish, on the other hand, saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing by Rp19,980 (53.58%) to Rp17,310 per kg.
