Forbes released a list of the world's 2,735 richest people, spread across 79 countries, in July 2024.

The United States had the highest number of billionaires globally as of Saturday, July 20, 2024, with a total of 801 billionaires.

In total, the richest individuals in the United States possess US$5.948 trillion (Rp96.440 trillion) in wealth, assuming an exchange rate of Rp16,213/US$ on July 20, 2024.

China followed in second place with 375 billionaires. The total wealth of Chinese billionaires amounts to US$1.279 trillion (Rp20.737 trillion). The wealth of individual Chinese billionaires ranges from US$0.95 billion to US$53.11 billion, equivalent to Rp15.44 trillion to Rp861.1 trillion.

India came next, with 211 billionaires and a combined wealth of US$1.039 trillion (Rp16.852 trillion).

Indonesia did not rank among the top 10 countries with the most billionaires. However, Indonesia was ranked 19th with 33 billionaires, possessing a collective wealth of US$212.47 billion (Rp3.444 trillion).
