Promotional Period Ends: Normal LRT Jabodebek Fares Begin June 2024

The Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation announces the normal fare for the Jabodebek LRT, effective June 1, 2024.

DJKA Director Risal Wasal stated that the minimum fare is Rp5,000, in accordance with Minister of Transportation Decree Number KM 67 of 2023.

"The implementation of this normal fare simultaneously ends the promotional fare period, which has been in effect since October 22, 2023, until May 31, 2024," said Risal, as reported by *Antara*, Thursday (30/5/2024).

Although the promotional fare has ended, DJKA still applies a maximum fare of Rp10,000 for Monday-Friday outside peak hours and on weekends or national holidays.

However, for Monday-Friday during peak hours, the maximum fare reaches Rp20,000.

"We hope that the affordable fares and the complete and comfortable facilities offered can further increase public awareness of using the Jabodebek LRT," said Risal.

The following is a complete list of normal Jabodebek LRT fares effective June 1, 2024:

Monday-Friday during peak hours, 06.00-08.59 WIB and 16.00-18.59 WIB:

* Minimum Fare: Rp5,000
* Fare per km: Rp700
* Maximum Fare: Rp20,000

Monday-Friday during off-peak hours, 05.00-05.59 WIB, 09.00-15.59 WIB, and 19.00-end of operation:

* Minimum Fare: Rp5,000
* Fare per km: Rp700
* Maximum Fare: Rp10,000

Saturday-Sunday and national holidays:

* Minimum Fare: Rp5,000
* Fare per km: Rp700
* Maximum Fare: Rp10,000
