The number of motor vehicles in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, reached 124,510 units in March 2025.
Based on data from the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Electronic Registration and Identification (ERI) system on Monday (March 24th), the number of motorcycles in North Penajam Paser Regency was 108,390 units.
Furthermore, the number of passenger cars was 7,746 units. This was followed by 7,979 units of goods vehicles, 217 buses, and 125 special purpose vehicles.
Among the regencies/cities in the province, Samarinda City had the highest number of motor vehicles (1.03 million units). Meanwhile, Mahakam Hulu Regency had the lowest number (340 units).
