Hybrid Car Sales Surge in First Half of 2024

Based on Gaikindo data, wholesale sales volume of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in Indonesia reached approximately 4,000 units in June 2024.

Sales from manufacturers to distributors increased by 0.07% compared to May 2024 (month-to-month).

Cumulatively, the wholesale sales volume of hybrid vehicles during the first half of 2024 reached approximately 24,000 units.

This represents a growth of approximately 49% compared to the first half of last year (cumulative-to-cumulative), which saw only 16,000 units sold.

The hybrid car brands with the highest wholesale sales in Indonesia during the first half of 2024 were Toyota, Honda, and Suzuki. Here's a breakdown of the models:

2. Toyota All New Kijang Innova Zenix G: 2,912 units
3. Toyota All New Kijang Innova Zenix V: 2,311 units
